The Legends Series of Interviews with Musical Icons is a project of the American School Band Directors Association that serves all band directors and music educators. Attendees must register in advance for these Zoom events and will have the opportunity to submit a question for the guest at the time of registration.

Young Director's Symposium

The "ASBDA Young Band Director's Symposium" is an exclusive program created by ASBDA members to assist new and developing band directors to understand their profession better and assist with the demands that come with the position.

Clinics

ASBDA sponsors a variety of clinic sessions for band directors at various music educator conventions throughout the nation. Topics range from preparing for festival performances, relationships with administrators, instrument repair, grant writing, how to commission new music, starting beginners, notation software, copyright law, managing a budget, mentoring skills, rehearsal techniques, classroom management, and much more.

ASBDA sponsored clinics are open to all band directors and provide a wealth of information relevant to the needs of today's music educators. Look for ASBDA sponsored clinics at a music convention near you.

Concert Band Pre-festival

Various State Chapters host a pre-festival; check with the State Chair in your area.
